The Opal Bent Stool is a monolithic acrylic cast seating piece with a seemingly melted surface atop two posts.
The gemstone-like, semi-transparency, shifting color and often marked iridescent play of colors that result from a unique chemical reaction during the casting process, manipulating the properties of the acrylic.
This piece was created as a collaboration between a specialist fabricator and our studio.
