Holographic Domesticity is a series of objects composed through pure shapes and spatial gestures, bent, arched, curved, stacked, or juxtaposed to form utilitarian domestic pieces. Rooted in a language of clarity and abstraction, the work explores how simple formal operations can generate functional yet expressive objects.
Through a holographic surface treatment, the pieces acquire an illusionistic materiality where color and light remain in constant flux. A holographic-treated prismatic volume leads to a playful perception of color, light, and tactility, shifting according to viewpoint and environment, and inviting a dynamic, sensory engagement with the domestic landscape.
