On Slowness was a collaborative installation presented during Milan Design Week 2024, situated within Weekend Max Mara's new boutique on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Curated by Objects of Common Interest and Studio Blanco, the project brought together Weekend Max Mara and Bitossi Ceramiche to celebrate lifestyles inspired by slowness.
The installation featured a harmonious blend of handcrafted ceramics by Bitossi and design pieces by Patricia Urquiola, Zaven, and Objects of Common Interest. The boutique's interior, envisioned as an urban oasis, incorporated natural materials such as rocks, bricks, textiles, and botanical elements, creating a serene environment that encouraged visitors to pause and reflect.
This project exemplified a shared commitment to thoughtful design and the appreciation of slow living, offering an immersive experience that resonated with the ethos of both fashion and craftsmanship.
