Contemporary Design is a group exhibition presented at MAXXI Museum in Rome, marking the inauguration of the museum’s Contemporary Design Collection. The show brings together twelve international studios and designers, reflecting the current landscape of design across multiple disciplines and approaches.
Tube Column was featured in the Collectible Design section, which highlights works where the designer is directly involved in the making process, resulting in unique pieces or limited series. The work continues an ongoing exploration of light, perception, and spatial presence, reimagining sculptural lighting as an elemental and immersive experience.
The exhibition unfolds across five thematic sections, Industrial, Collectible, Anonymous, New Materials, and Digital Design, offering a snapshot of contemporary design through material experimentation, cultural dialogue, and evolving modes of production.
