Ellipse and Ellipsis

Ellipse and Ellipsis is a group exhibition exploring transformation and perception through sound, movement, and form, with the ellipse and the ellipsis as guiding tropes. As part of it, we presented six Inflatable Chairs, biodegradable, body-responsive structures that created a mutable landscape within the space.

Rooted in an understanding of the ellipse as a system of relationality and continuous transformation, and the ellipsis as a space of omission and potential, the exhibition unfolds as an environment of ambiguity, repetition, and spatial speculation. Within this context, the Inflatable Chairs introduce a shifting topography that responds to the presence and movement of the body.

Inviting intuitive engagement, the installation reflects these conditions through a landscape that remains in flux, where form is not fixed but continuously redefined through use, proximity, and interaction.
