Ask Me If I Believe in the Future

Ask Me If I Believe in the Future is a group exhibition exploring how design can shape future ways of living. Within this context, Teahouses for domesticity is presented as an immersive, participatory installation reflecting on the human need for closeness and community, brought into sharp focus during the pandemic.

Composed of three oversized inflatable PVC tubes, the work invites visitors to move through a shifting sensory landscape, where each passage creates a personal experience of space and time, presence and absence. The installation juxtaposes interior and exterior conditions through reflective and responsive materials, encouraging interaction and heightened bodily awareness, while proposing new forms and conceptual approaches to sharing space..
