Purble Nebula

Purble Nebula is an installation presented at Nilufar-Viale Lancetti Venue that explores color as an immersive spatial condition, drawing inspiration from cosmic phenomena and the rare presence of purple in nature. Referencing X-ray images of nebulas captured by NASA, the project translates celestial atmospheres into a domestic environment centered around gathering and interaction.

Conceived as a monochromatic dining landscape, the installation reimagines the act of coming together within a defined, introspective space. A circular arrangement of semi-transparent curtains and a soft carpet creates an enclosed environment, echoing the expansive yet intimate qualities of a nebula. Subtle variations of purple permeate the space, guiding perception and focusing attention inward.

Through the interplay of light, transparency, and material, the installation invites a sensory exploration of color and texture, where boundaries are softened and perception becomes fluid.
