Future Archaelogy is a solo exhibition exploring domesticity through a speculative lens, where familiar objects appear as artifacts from an imagined future. Composed of a series of steel pieces finished with a holographic surface treatment, the works shift in color and perception, creating an ever-changing visual experience.
The exhibition unfolds as a spatial investigation into the relationship between history, coexistence, and contemporary habitation. Defined by pure geometries and simple gestures, such as bending, stacking, arching, or juxtaposing, the objects form a collection of essential domestic elements, including chairs, tables, stools, armchairs, and cabinets. Their illusionistic surfaces destabilize the perception of material, transforming solid forms into dynamic, light-reactive presences.
Alongside these, Element Lights introduce standing, transparent figures that hold light within their bodies, reduced to minimal volumetric expressions. Liquid Rocks present semi-translucent, rock-like forms resting on mobile bases, combining solidity with a soft, tactile quality.
Together, the works propose a vision of “holographic domesticity,” where objects exist between states, familiar yet displaced, functional yet speculative, like relics of a time yet to come
