Inflatable Chair is a playful and ergonomic seating object that explores contemporary habitation through a soft, lightweight, and adaptive structure. Its inflatable body responds to the user, allowing for a flexible and intuitive interaction that challenges conventional notions of furniture as fixed and rigid. Balancing comfort with experimentation, the object proposes a more fluid and informal way of occupying space.
The inflatable chair was exhibited among other futuristic domestic pieces in the exhibition Future Archaeology as an exploration of smart and ergonomic objects in contemporary habitation, while remaining a playful and fun object. It was also presented as part of Ellipse and Ellipsis, where six biodegradable, body-responsive chairs formed a mutable landscape within the space, inviting intuitive engagement and reflecting themes of transformation, perception, and spatial interaction.
