Wild Thing
aluminium, light bulbs
Wild Thing is a scenographic set of elements, an expandable and reconfigurable volumetric totem, a polymorphic creature that lights up, moves, and swivels and dominates a space with its captivating energy.
We are taking the iconic travel item with its rigid emphasis on form and function and shifting its purpose to a non-functional mobile beacon, a careless and carefree homage to mobility and materiality.

The grooved patterned motif shapes free-floating and stackable volumes on casters with an array of light bulbs on each of the facets creating shine and reflections upon its aluminum surface. With its useless architecture with implicit scalability and endlessness built loosely around the scale module of the suitcase, Wild Thing becomes a space-defining installation of objects.
